He signed with Columbia Records to release his debut studio album, Coming Home (2015), which peaked at number six on the Billboard 200, received platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and earned a nomination for Best R&B Album at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards.
